You may or may not be aware that the Guild is having a display at this fall’s Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival on Sept 26-27th.The display will be located upstairs in the Pavilion Building at the Clackamas County Event Center in Canby. We need volunteers to help!

Items for the display need to be collected in advance of the event and transported to the Event Center on Friday, September 25. The display needs to be set up and organized on Friday. TKG will also be responsible for dismantling the display on Sunday afternoon after 4pm and arranging to get the display items back to their owners. There will be two display cases set aside for our guild and items can also be hung on the lattice behind the cases.

During the festival we would like to have guild members manning the display and fielding questions from the public from 9 – 5 on Saturday and 9 – 4 on Sunday. This is a shared task and can be a lot of fun. Sign up with a friend and you can sit and knit for an hour or two while keeping an eye on things.

September will roll around pretty quickly and it would be nice to have this event locked up and staffed in advance. The guild has never done this before and we need your help to make it happen. Contact Sabrina for more info or to sign up.
